Grants for residencies and professional placements abroad - Contemporary classical music

Purpose

To support composers of contemporary music internationally:

Residencies:

- To promote residencies for composers of contemporary music with commissions placed by production and broadcasting companies outside France (ensembles, orchestras, festivals, etc.).
- To promote the production of specific musical projects and the organisation of ancillary services provided by and for the composer: masterclasses, workshops, conferences, professional meetings including meetings with other composers, musicians, and foreign orchestras.

Professional placements:

- If no residency is available, to promote attendance by composers at concert festivals and rehearsals outside France (creation of works), giving rise to professional encounters to support the development of their careers.
